All in a Day's Work
I've always had a fascination with robotics. I suppose that combined with my love for animation inspired the short. It was late 2012, towards the end of my chemo treatment when I modeled the wind-up robot that would eventually become the star in my four minute short. Around January of 2013 I wrote the script with the advice of my mentor, modeled the surroundings, and had begun animating the film. When it was done I submitted it to the Valley College Film Festival. There it won two awards, one for best high school producer and the other for creativity and originality.
